Terms of service

These terms are between you and AEQI, Inc., a Delaware corporation (also identified in our Impressum). By creating an account, starting a subscription, or using the app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

1. Service Description

aeqi provides a platform for creating and operating Companies: programmable companies where humans set direction and AI agents execute. Each Company you create runs in its own isolated runtime with its own agents, ideas, quests, and events. Ownership, wallet, and governance features may be beta, phased, or unavailable in some deployment modes.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and verify your email address. You are responsible for the security of your credentials and for all activity under your account. One human per account; sharing accounts is not permitted.

3. Billing

The Platform is billed per active Company. Personal is $49 / month (free for the first 3 days), Startup is $190 / month, and Scaleup is $490 / month. You can change capacity later. Joining a Company another user owns is free.

Billing renews monthly until you cancel via the billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period; you keep access and any remaining credits until then, after which the subscription and its credits end. We may adjust pricing with 30 days' notice; existing subscriptions are honoured at their current rate through the next renewal.

All fees are non-refundable. Subscriptions and runtime credits are digital services provided for immediate use, so we do not offer refunds — full or partial — for unused time, unused credits, or after cancellation, except where mandatory law requires otherwise. By starting a subscription or buying credits you expressly request that we begin providing the service immediately and acknowledge that, once provision has begun, you lose any statutory right of withdrawal that would otherwise apply to digital services and digital content.

4. Fair-Use & LLM Costs

Subscription fees cover platform operation, hosting, and the included monthly inference credits. Credits are denominated at our real provider cost (one credit = one cent of usage), roll over while your subscription is active, and are spent at the true cost of each model call. Usage above your balance may require a credit add-on or your own provider key. We may rate-limit or contact you about usage that substantially exceeds typical patterns, such as multi-hour sustained agent loops or equivalent volume.

5. Acceptable Use

You may not use the Platform to break the law, harass or harm others, generate or distribute malware, infringe intellectual property, attempt to extract another tenant's data, or evade rate limits. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms; egregious violations may be reported to the relevant authorities.

6. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of the content and data you create on the Platform — your Companies, agents, ideas, quests, and configurations are yours. You grant us the limited rights needed to host, process, transmit, back up, and display that content solely to provide and secure the Platform. The Platform itself and our brand assets remain ours.

7. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties except where warranties cannot be excluded by law. Agent outputs are probabilistic and may be wrong; you are responsible for reviewing agent actions before acting on them in the real world. Nothing in these terms limits liability for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body, or health, statutory product liability, or other liability that cannot be excluded by law. Otherwise, to the extent permitted by law, liability is limited to foreseeable damages typical for this type of service and, for paid plans, the fees paid in the 12 months before the claim.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time via the billing portal or by emailing us. We may terminate accounts for material breach with 7 days' notice (immediately for egregious violations). Upon termination, we delete your data per the Privacy Policy retention schedule.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA. Disputes are resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, except where mandatory consumer-protection law in your jurisdiction provides otherwise — if you are a consumer in the EU, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws, and access to the courts, of your country of residence.

10. Changes

We may update these terms; the "Last updated" date above reflects the current version. Material changes are announced by email or in-product notice. For paid subscriptions, material changes apply from the next renewal unless earlier application is required for security, legal, or operational reasons. If you do not agree, you may stop using the Platform and cancel before renewal.
