Terms of service

These terms are between you and the operator identified in our Impressum. By creating an account, starting a subscription, or using the app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

1. Service Description

aeqi provides a platform for creating and operating TRUSTs: programmable companies where humans set direction and AI agents execute. Each TRUST you create runs in its own isolated runtime with its own agents, ideas, quests, and events. Ownership, wallet, and governance features may be beta, phased, or unavailable in some deployment modes.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and verify your email address. You are responsible for the security of your credentials and for all activity under your account. One human per account; sharing accounts is not permitted.

3. Billing

The Platform is billed by launched TRUST. Standard is $49 / month. Pro is $69 for the first month, $149 / month thereafter, with the first-month Pro discount applied automatically at checkout. You can change capacity later. Joining a TRUST another user owns is free.

Billing renews monthly until you cancel via the billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period; partial-month refunds are not provided except where required by law. We may adjust pricing with 30 days' notice; existing subscriptions are honoured at their current rate through the next renewal.

4. Fair-Use & LLM Costs

Subscription fees cover platform operation, hosting, and the included monthly inference credit. Usage above the included credit may require a top-up or your own provider key. We may rate-limit or contact you about usage that substantially exceeds typical patterns, such as multi-hour sustained agent loops or equivalent volume.

5. Acceptable Use

You may not use the Platform to break the law, harass or harm others, generate or distribute malware, infringe intellectual property, attempt to extract another tenant's data, or evade rate limits. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms; egregious violations may be reported to the relevant authorities.

6. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of the content and data you create on the Platform — your Companies, agents, ideas, quests, and configurations are yours. You grant us the limited rights needed to host, process, transmit, back up, and display that content solely to provide and secure the Platform. The Platform itself and our brand assets remain ours.

7. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties except where warranties cannot be excluded by law. Agent outputs are probabilistic and may be wrong; you are responsible for reviewing agent actions before acting on them in the real world. Nothing in these terms limits liability for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body, or health, statutory product liability, or other liability that cannot be excluded by law. Otherwise, to the extent permitted by law, liability is limited to foreseeable damages typical for this type of service and, for paid plans, the fees paid in the 12 months before the claim.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time via the billing portal or by emailing us. We may terminate accounts for material breach with 7 days' notice (immediately for egregious violations). Upon termination, we delete your data per the Privacy Policy retention schedule.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Germany. Disputes are resolved in the courts of Germany, except where mandatory consumer-protection law in your jurisdiction provides otherwise.

10. Changes

We may update these terms; the "Last updated" date above reflects the current version. Material changes are announced by email or in-product notice. For paid subscriptions, material changes apply from the next renewal unless earlier application is required for security, legal, or operational reasons. If you do not agree, you may stop using the Platform and cancel before renewal.
