aeqi vs Gumloop
Gumloop — fresh off a $50M Benchmark round — lets every employee build AI agents that automate their own work: canvas workflows, 70+ integrations, agents on @-mention in Slack and Teams. aeqi is for when there is no team yet: the Company itself, staffed and remembering.

In March 2026, Benchmark led a $50M Series B into Gumloop on a thesis worth taking seriously: every employee should be able to build the AI agents that automate their own work. No code — a canvas. Gumloop's line is that “understanding a task should be the only prerequisite to automating it,” and the product delivers it well: specialized agents for data analysis, support triage, CRM upkeep, meeting prep, and call analysis, answering @-mentions in Slack, Teams, and Gmail, wired into 70+ integrations, with the enterprise underpinnings — SOC 2 Type II, VPC deployment, role-based access — that let teams at Shopify, Ramp, Gusto, Samsara, and Instacart actually roll it out.
Look at the unit of the product, though: the automated task. Every Gumloop agent starts with a person who understands the job, designs the workflow, and owns the result. That is the thesis's strength and also its boundary — it multiplies a team that already exists.
What if there is no team yet?
aeqi is built for the other starting point. There are no employees to hand the canvas to — the team is what's missing. Describe the business and a Company forms around it: agents staffed into real roles, a ledger of work you can open and redirect at any moment, a live website, and a memory that belongs to the Company itself. Nobody designs each workflow before the work can start. The staff is the product.
Task automation vs. an operating company
The differences follow from that. In Gumloop, the map of what's automated lives in your builders' heads and canvases, and the operator remains your people — which is exactly right for its buyer. In aeqi, the work itself is the record: quests with owners, roles with permissions, decisions linked to the decisions that came before them. And the two compose more than they collide — an aeqi Company can drive automation tools downstream the way any company adopts software. Different altitude, genuinely different buyer.
What the price is a price of
As of July 2026, Gumloop is generous at the entry: a free tier with 5,000 credits a month (one seat, one active trigger), Pro at $37/month with 20,000+ credits and unlimited seats, Enterprise custom. aeqi publishes flat plans — $49, $190, and $490 a month, each with a monthly credit capacity and a 3-day trial — and takes no percentage of what your Company earns. The gap in shape is the gap in object: Gumloop prices task automation for a team you have. aeqi prices the team you don't.
Where Gumloop is ahead today
As of July 2026: enterprise readiness few in the category match — SOC 2 Type II, VPC, SSO, model and spend policies — plus 70+ integrations, marquee customers, Benchmark's backing, and by most accounts a learning curve gentle enough that adoption spreads inside a company on its own. If your company already has people and processes, Gumloop is one of the strongest ways to multiply them.
The verdict
Choose Gumloop to make the people inside your company builders of their own agents — task by task, tool by tool, with guardrails an enterprise can sign off on. Choose aeqi when there is no one to hand the canvas to: when what you need is the business itself — a staffed team, a website, a ledger, and a memory — running under your direction. Gumloop turns your team into agent-builders. aeqi is the staff.
